On Saturday UK national newspaper The Guardian published this fantastic article, in which a host of awesome authors picked out some of their very favourite SF.
Personal highlights for me included Stephen Baxter writing about the thoroughly astonishing Hothouse by Brian Aldiss, Liz Jensen writing about Day of the Triffids by John Wyndham, China Mieville describing The Island of Doctor Moreau by H. G. Wells and – in case you needed further persuasion after my recent post about the new comics adaptation! – a piece about H. P. Lovecraft by one of my absolute favourite authors, Russell Hoban.
