I’ve been glued to the news lately, awed and astonished by the bravery of the ordinary people struggling for their freedom at the risk of their lives in Tunisia, Egypt and now Libya.
This BBC article caught my eye about Gene Sharp, author of a manual on how to topple tyrants by non-violent means. His short, passionate and brilliantly approachable book From Dictatorship To Democracy has been inspiring freedom fighters all over the globe.
