Look what I got for Christmas…

To anyone else, Monsters by Christopher Dell (published by Thames and Hudson) is a gorgeous, glossy, gleeful romp through some of the finest monster art that humanity has ever produced, compiled from a wonderful variety of cultures and periods of history.
To myself and my fellow members of the TBM posse, however – some of whom are about to enter our third year of captivity in these caves – this book is something more: a kind of spotter’s guide to the real-life horrors we poor kidnapped authors face here on a daily basis.
The time has come. At no small personal risk to myself I intend to unmask these creatures. Over forthcoming posts I’m going to reveal the monsters’ true identities – the names and natures that, until now, they’ve kept secret from the world. Or, of course, I’ll perish horribly in the attempt.
Wish me luck.
