Many years ago, before we were trapped here in these dirty, smelly caves, I was a little boy. And, as a little boy, I was a fan of a wonderful series of books all about colourful characters with single-track personalities. I’m talking, of course, about The Mr. Men.
Launched in 1971 by former advertising executive Roger Hargreaves, The Mr. Men (and later the Little Miss series) remain one of the most successful collection of children’s stories the world has ever seen.
