Drawing Blood!

As part of the build up (and beyond come to think of it), to The Halifax Ghost Story Festival (more on this soon), I am very lucky to find myself hung on the walls in Dean Clough Galleries in Halifax. Now, of  course, I don’t actually mean that I am hung. No! It’s my drawings you fools! I am sharing the space with a good friend and fellow author / illustrator Chris Mould. For those of you who don’t know as much as you should about this chap and his dark and terrible imagination then check out his website www.chrismouldink.com or the site: www.somethingwickedlyweird.com that tells you all you need to know about his fantastic series Something Wickedly Weird.

Meanwhile, there are number of pieces of original artwork from our published books as well as sketches and, well frankly, just mindless doodles. If that wasn’t good enough some pieces are even for sale. I know!!

I have a few Windy Nibblers (above), looking for a home. While Chris has many thoughtfully dark and troubled characters (like this one below), on offer.

In my next post I’ll explain exactly why I am spending so much time with Chris Mould in Halifax (not altogether sure it’s such a wise thing to do, actually), as well as a little more detail about The Halifax Ghost Story Festival which, incidentally, runs from 29th – 31st October

You have been warned!

If, however, you can’t wait then take a look for yourselves at www.halifax-ghost-story-festival.org.uk
