It seems these days that when people describe books, they rarely say ‘Wow, this is totally original! I can’t think of anything to compare it to.’ Most of my favourite books of recent years remind me of something else that I’ve read or seen before. The Hunger Games reminded me of The Running Man. Gone by Michael Grant had definite shades of The Lord of the Flies.
So what do I think my new book, The Devil’s Triangle, will be compared to? Well, if I were to make a guess, then I think this is the most likely comparison:
Though I’m hoping this will be a positive thing.
