POETRY PIE TIME!
This week I have written a poem about a plastic bag that I saw blowing in the wind. It looked a bit like it was dancing. Here goes:
“Danger of Suffocation”
It reads upon your side.
More like “danger of syncopation”
As you dance in the wind and are admired,
By all the people passing by
As they head into the shops.
They think that you’ve got rhythm
They think you’re Top of the Pops.
They’d like to dance with you, bag,
Bag that once may have held a mango,
They’ve no interest in what may have made you sag,
Instead they want to
TANGO.
