While doing my weekly search to find sites where INVISIBLE FIENDS: MR MUMBLES is available to pre-order, I came across the following chart on Amazon. Click to enlarge, then note number 8 in the chart.

It’s worth noting, however, that this chart is now out of date. The current chart has THREE of Tommy’s books in there, with two of them thrashing mine in the rankings. Still, for that fleeting moment I was a winner, dammit. I was a winner!

Actually – at 7pm on Sunday 23rd – I’m at numbers 8, 9 and 19…
Now, if you add the 8 and 9 together, you get 17. Take that away from the 19, and you’ll see that – technically – I’m in second place on the chart.

Ah boys, boys… this way madness lies. I bet you’re checking EVERY HOUR now, aren’t you? I have print outs of my finest placings for 60 minutes stuck to my door (no 1 on one heady occasion – No 5 under Harry Potter on another). I try not to look any more. The potential for bashing my forehead repeatedly on my laptop (and producing some pretty amazing work!) is too great…
