After I foolishly mentioned that I’d once read a magazine about web-design, the monsters decided I should do a redesign of the Trapped By Monsters website. I tried to protest – tried to explain to them I had deadlines to meet, and school events to organise, and a monkey to start training for next year’s Britain’s Got Talent – but they didn’t listen. They just ripped up my rewrites, cancelled my school bookings, and swallowed the monkey whole. Poor little Coco. May he rest in peace.
And so, armed with nothing but my hazy memories, a wonky desk, and several thousand pounds worth of web-design and image editing software, I set to work. The result is what you see on this page.
So, what do you reckon? Are the changes good? Bad? Utterly pointless and unnecessary? It’d be great to get your comments, whether they be positive or negative. The more feedback we get, the better the site can become. So, while you’re giving your thoughts on the design, let us know if there’s anything else you’d like to see here on the site, and we’ll see what we can do.

Thanks for the vote of confidence, Scott. I’m glad to report I’m going to be back writing this very afternoon, once I’ve built up my new desk. Yes, for rebuilding the website, I’ve been given a new desk by the monsters. It’s very generous of them, although I’d have preferred one that wasn’t made of human bones. Still, beggars can’t be choosers, eh?
Oh, and Grivlespit is a fine name for a monkey.
Glad you like it, Ali. One of Colin and Justin went to school with my older sister. I have no idea which one.

It’s looking brilliant! Now, if only someone could give my corner of the cave a makeover…
Baz – you’re not sure which one of your sisters went to school with Colin and/or Justin?

That’s quite enough of your tomfoolery, Donbavand. I have one sister, and she went to school with either A) Colin, or B) Justin.
To make sure you understand, let’s look at it as a mathematical equation, where my sister is S, and both Colin and Justin are represented by the unknown quantity, X. My sister’s class will be represented as Y. For the sake of the equation, we will assume a class size of 30.
Therefore, to better explain my previous post:
X = C+(Y/30)
However, I felt it would perhaps just be easier to say: “One of Colin and Justin went to school with my older sister. I have no idea which one,” which is – if you’ll remember – what I did.
Hope that clarifies things.

Incidentally, I’m rubbish at maths, so apologies for the fact my equation up there probably makes no sense whatsoever.
