Look, I know I shouldn’t have fallen asleep in the carriage, and I apologise if I started snoring, but this is a bit much, isn’t it, guys?

I’d have understood a sharp elbow in my ribs.  I’d have accepted a telling off when I woke up.  But locking me in a windowless dungeon without food or water for the past twenty-seven hours?  Don’t you think you’re overreacting just a little?

I don’t even snore that loudly, that’s the worst of it.  I’ve certainly never heard myself snortling away, and I’m a very light sleeper.  Donbavand – now there’s a man who snores like a bull moose, but me?  Snore?  Never.

So, if one of you could toddle along and let me out of this here dank and dingy cavern, I’d be very grateful.
